Beck is a classical flute player in her final year of study at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. At her time there she has studied under Emma Sholl, James Kortum and Janet Web and has performed in recitals, chamber groups, larger ensembles, and as a concerto soloist both in Australia and abroad.
Beck has been performing music since childhood, learning flute, piano and french horn throughout her schooling years, as well as being involved in the Millennium Marching Band and the Northern Sydney Youth Orchestra. In 2015, she toured USA with the Millenium Marching Band and in 2018 she toured with the Northern Sydney Youth Orchestra to Europe as principal chair.
Beck loves teaching flute. She is passionate about a breadth of musical genres, and always seeks to broadern her knowledge in order to share it with students and find a style of music that they enjoy playing.
