Zhen Luo is currently the Artistic Director (Young Artist Program) at the School of Music, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. He graduated with a perfect score from the graduate program in Piano Performance at CUHK-Shenzhen and was the sole piano recipient of the 2024 Ms. Chen Qiuminying Best Graduate Scholarship. During his undergraduate studies, he ranked first in his major for four consecutive years and graduated as the top student in the entire department. As an outstanding student, he represented the university in organizing and performing in dozens of concerts.
Zhen Luo previously studied at the Attached Middle School of Shenyang Conservatory of Music, Mannes School of Music in the U.S., University of Central Missouri, Berklee College of Music, and Nanjing University of the Arts.
He is a prizewinner of numerous international competitions, including the 17th American Global Music Competition (China Division), Yamaha Asian Music Competition, and the Forte International Piano Competition (U.S.). Known for his broad musical repertoire, Zhen Luo has performed works from various periods and styles. He has actively participated in chamber music, choral accompaniment, vocal and dance accompaniment, and has collaborated successfully with many distinguished vocalists and dancers from China and abroad. His performances include events such as the Sino-American Vocal Art Forum Concert.
Zhen Luo has graced stages across China and the United States, performing at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall in New York and the Nanjing Arts Center, earning widespread acclaim.
