Terms and Conditions

It’s very important to note that when you book your music lessons, you are reserving and purchasing your tutor’s time.

  • Booking and Payment

Simply fill in the Enrolment Form and send it back to us or Talking directly to our members. We only accept payment term by term (at least one term). The payment must be made at the time of booking and $15 administration fee apply to each student. It can be made through online banking, over the phone or in person. We accept Cash, EFTPOS or Visa, MasterCard (2% credit card surcharge). For your Internet transfer to our bank account (Parramatta Academy Music Class BSB: 062-223 Account NO: 1109-8432 please quote your name for reference and allow up to 2 working days for processing. We do not accept American Express Cards and Personal cheque. Billing circle on every 10th lesson, late payments will incur a 2.5% surcharge applied on top of term fee.

  • Refunds

Refunds will not be given for missed or cancelled lessons or if you simply change your mind. When you book your music lessons you are reserving and purchasing your tutor’s time and preventing us from booking in another student. However it may be possible to transfer lessons to another person/student (makeup lessons cannot be transferred). Payments made for music lessons cannot be used / transferred to purchase goods/items from Academy Music Store.

  • Tuition Rates

Tuition rates are variously depending on the students’ competency level and the chosen tutor. Generally, all lesson is start from $38 ½ Hour, $53 ¾ Hour, $65/Hour for complete beginner. And the tuition rates will be various bases on different tutor and AMEB Grades.

For SCHOOL CERTIFICATE, HSC, ADVANCED THEORY. Price Start from $40 ½ Hour, $55 ¾ Hour, $65/Hour

  • Cancellations

a)   In the event that the Student cancels delivery of the Services the Student agrees to provide PAMC with at least twenty four (24) hours’ notice or provide a medical certificate in order to reschedule or to have a makeup lesson, otherwise it will be deemed a charge (&forfeiture of that lesson) Furthermore, the Student shall be liable for any and all loss incurred by PAMC (whether direct or indirect) as a direct result of the cancellation. Cancellation of lessons outside this timeframe will result in the lesson not being rescheduled.

2 weeks notification is required for termination/discontinuation of lessons, otherwise a cancellation fee equivalent to the lesson charge will apply.

b)   Cancellations must be notified by emailing info@parracademymusic.com.au or by speaking directly with a representative of PAMC’s administration team on (02) 9687 0304. Should a teacher be unavailable for any reason, a replacement teacher may be assigned without notice ensuring continuity of study. Failure to comply with clause will result in the lesson being charged as normal.

  • Make Up Lessons

Limit of 1 makeup lesson per student,per term (within 10 block lessons period)  except under extenuating circumstances. All makeup lessons must be organised through Administration (NOT the teacher) and are at Management’s discretion.

  •  General Conditions

a)   Parramatta Academy (Of) Music Class (“PAMC”) does not takes any responsibility for siblings /friends/relatives of students who attend and/or wait on the premises. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian AT ALL TIMES.

b)   PAMC does not provide parking for students or their families. All breakages or damage to PAMC property must be paid for.

I have read and acknowledge to the terms and conditions of Parramatta Academy (Of) Music Class (“PAMC”), and understand that any breach of these conditions may lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of lessons.
